The ARC is a positive, lively place to meet other people who understand what it is like to have a brain injury.
We provide a range of activities and services that complement formal rehabilitation and encourage socialisation and peer support, so that you can develop strategies to help you deal with your brain injury. You can share your experiences in an environment of understanding, with an emphasis on fun and moving at your own pace.
We have a fully equipped gym and offer a professional physiotherapy assessment and individualised exercise programmes with 1-1 support where required. A range of therapists and course tutors offer a varied programme of activities. Structured and tailored programs enable you to access our services and therapies to best suit your needs. This may include:
- Physiotherapy and Exercise Programmes
- Complementary Therapies (Yoga, Tai Chi and more!)
- Arts and Music Therapy
- Health, Nutrition and Wellbeing
- Cognitive Skills Workshops
- Socials and Meetups
We understand that transportation is often a major issue if you have been affected by a brain injury. If required, we can help you arrange transport to our ARC.
